Global Transformational Retreat Leader, Master Yoga Teacher (25+ years), Travel Curator, Yoga Business Entrepreneur & Consultant, Founder of Sisters Yoga & Sisters Yoga School, (200-hour program) and Yoga Coach for Athletes, Chaz’s offerings are known for their life-changing results.
Having hosted 60+ retreats all over the world, Chaz has joyfully led thousands of people to discover ways in which to live their best and most successful life. Wearing her heart on her sleeve and with an honest and irreverent Jersey Girl humor and delivery, Chaz has a way of lightening up the heaviest of topics and moods, turning esoteric psychological and new-age truths into accessible conversations, thus making it easier and more fun to walk the arduous yet necessary path of healing, rooting into introspection, and expanding self-love. While Chaz teaches her signature “Yoga Party” on every retreat, students are guided to "do the work" by freeing themselves from the cages of their fear, increasing self-awareness, and subsequently getting out of their own way so that they can evolve and open themselves to their gifts and the amazing life that has been waiting for them to live!
With meticulous detail and thoughtful curation and concierge service, each bespoke retreat experience offers an authentic cultural immersion with sights and bites as lived through the hearts of the locals of each locale. As a certified travel specialist and owner of Sisters Yoga Travel, Chaz is known for providing “Five-star trips on a 3-Star budget." She prides herself on providing these retreats at affordable prices. In doing so, more of us get to explore this one wild and precious Earth… and we do it together, as a Retreat Family.
Chaz was introduced to the benefits of yoga as an adolescent when she joined Nicole Mode’s Yoga Studio (of France). As a 14-year-old model rife with body image issues and various eating disorders, Chaz found peace on her yoga mat. Chaz graduated from Rutgers College with Highest Honors with a degree in Genetics and high hopes of a PhD. Although she enjoyed the discipline inherent in the academic research world, she felt a deeper calling. Chaz then met her guru Mike Noury, (Gurmukh) of Yoga of India, who saw a unique light in her. Gurmukh went on to convince Chaz to become a yoga teacher and enroll in his teacher training program. In addition to yoga, visualization, and deep relaxation techniques, Chaz learned the very rewarding and healing practice of Thai yoga massage from Gurmukh. She received her 500 hour certification from The Art of Yoga in Modesto.
In 2006, Chaz founded Sisters Yoga and Sisters Yoga School in Fresno--an all-female yoga studio. Chaz sold the studio in 2009 and now serves as a business consultant for yoga studios looking to boost and build their business and community.
Chaz then moved to LA where she was named "Best Yoga Instructor," out of LA Family Magazine, opened YogaWorks studios, and began leading retreats around the world.
And here we are.
Although she takes wellness seriously, Chaz believes it should be approached with levity, as life is serious enough. Simply, with disarming warmth and welcoming care, Chaz helps people help themselves, and they have one helluva good time in the process. She sincerely hopes you join us!

Chaz had the great privilege of serving as "Spiritual Adviser" and Music Supervisor on her student Susan Walter's (writer/director) film "ALL I WISH ," starring Sharon Stone, Tony Goldwyn, Ellen Burstyn, Gilles Marini, Famke Jansenn, etc.. It was a great honor to integrate into the soundtrack the music of her student and singer-songwriter extraordinaire Jennifer Foster. She is so proud of these 2 most extraordinary women and humbled by their courage to share their gifts with the world. It's SUCH a beautiful film.
Chaz talks to ABC's Lori Corbin about how yoga is for EVERY BODY.
