TRAVEL INFO: We have a great team who can help you make this whole process easy and affordable, including airfare! We will be staying at Sofitel Athens pre and post retreat with a block of discounted rooms. We have also booked an optional delicious walking food tour through Athens on April 5th. Join us! We suggest flying into Athens at least one night before so as to ensure you are on the shuttle from Sofitel early in the afternoon on April 6th to head to the Piraeus Port to board the ferry! The ferry ride (approximately 8 hours; trust us when we say this is an odyssey to a far away dreamland - is worth every moment -you will be blown away once you wake in Amorgos) includes upgraded lounge tickets with access to lie-down sofas and the bar/cafe. You may also upgrade additionally for a cabin if you prefer .It also is a massive boat, so sea sickness isn't an issue. For more updated pre-retreat itinerary, please contact Chaz's manager Joanne: email@example.com
CANCELLATION POLICY: Payment must be made in half by October 1, 2021 and in full by January 1, 2022. A full refund will be granted if you can cancel for any reason. If you cancel within a month of the retreat, if we cannot replace your spot, a full refund will be granted minus costs already incurred for your planned participation. We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance (for medical expenses or cancellation costs for any reason). If we cancel the retreat due to lack of attendance, we will issue a full refund; if we cannot hold the retreat due to pandemic-related complications, we will first seek to postpone the retreat to a future date. We understand that "sh*t happens," and aim to be as fair with our refund policy as possible.
From Aegialis' site: "Amorgos is a remarkably unspoiled island at the South Eastern edge of the Cyclades group, where traditional customs are still inextricably interwoven into a landscape as rich in beauty as in its history and culture. Originally inhabited by seafarers from Asia Minor in the 4th Century BC, the island now cradles people who enjoy a lifestyle that has been shaped by a varied and dramatic past. This is a place that appears untouched by time, but where the inhabitants quietly preserve one of the best kept secrets of the Aegean."
